Rent the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art lens, Sigma’s flagship standard zoom lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras available in Sony E-mount. This second-generation lens features a refined optical design with 19 elements in 15 groups, including 6 FLD (F Low Dispersion), 2 SLD (Special Low Dispersion), and 5 aspherical elements to minimize chromatic aberrations, color fringing, and distortion throughout the zoom range. With a bright and constant f/2.8 aperture and a rounded 11-blade diaphragm, it delivers beautiful bokeh and excellent low-light performance. The lens includes a high-response linear actuator (HLA) motor for autofocus that is up to 3 times faster, quieter, and more accurate than its predecessor, making it ideal for stills and video. It has a minimum focusing distance of 17cm at the wide end, offering great close-up capability with 1:2.7 magnification. Weighing approximately 745g, it is compact and lightweight for an f/2.8 standard zoom and features a dust and splash-resistant design with a water and oil-repellent coating on the front element for durability in tough shooting conditions. Additionally, the lens includes an aperture ring and zoom lock switch for enhanced control and usability.
